“Life Begins At The End Of Your Comfort Zone”
– Neale Donald Walsch
For many of us, change can present itself as a challenging obstacle. Especially, when you have grown accustomed to a way of doing things. Although, there is a content feeling you experience with routines. It is important for you to have room in your heart and mind for adaptability if and when change may arise. Life begins and ends at your comfort zone, is wise advice for anyone no matter what their age. For you, it reinforces the message that, regardless of how inconvenient it may seem. Change has the potential to result in something so truly wonderful it transforms your life, forever.
Retirement, It’s Your Life & Your Journey
While most of us never realize the limitations our personal comfort zones impose upon us. Those who do, will not let life pass by. In fact, many people go through life not taking chances or stepping out into the unknown. But, with a new year, you can create a new you.
New Year, New You
Don’t look back at your life wishing you could perhaps do things differently. Now is the time to be more courageous and take more chances. Look inside yourself and find that burning desire. Sure it can be uncomfortable to try something new or pursue a desire. But that is what makes life so exciting. Remember, fear is nothing more than something we all create in our minds. However, your spirit is so much stronger!
By pushing past your fear by taking action, the fear will begin to dissolve. It reminds me of a New Year’s resolution I once heard, resolve to evolve. Resolve, the firm determination to do something. And evolve, to develop gradually. In a nutshell, what it means is that once you decided to take action in your life without fear. The result is transformation.
If you want to live your life to the fullest, all you really have to do is try. And, that takes motivation and determination. Motivation is your desire or willingness to do something. And, determination is what makes you continue to try to do something or achieve something that may be difficult. It’s much like running a 25K until you lose the feeling in your legs.
Although both your legs and lungs are on fire, you keep running because determination moves your legs for you. The point here is, never give up! If there is a goal you want to achieve, go after it! If there is something you want to do, do it!
