We Are In This Together
Living a rich life while stuck inside can be difficult, but at Chateau La Jolla we always find new ways to make the residents smile. From hour-long concerts to serenade our residents who are sheltering in place to each of them doing their part to slow the progression of the Coronavirus, at Chateau La Jolla we are all in this together. For this reason, we created a Shelter In Place playlist which we recorded during our outdoor concert series which can be viewed below by clicking on the button. It is our hope you find this wonderfully uplifting music helpful in this moment of stress, confusion and occasional fear.

Music For The Soul
Normally Gizeh Guevara who oversees the housekeeping staff, work schedules and ordering sanitation supplies and in normal times plays once a month at Chateau La Jolla’s happy hours, has been playing a different role lately. In fact, last week he performed a series of concerts over four days in four different outdoor locations, singing music popularized by Frank Sinatra, Neil Diamond, and others.
Gizeh who is often referred to as a “crooner,” has worked at Chateau La Jolla almost three years but has more than 16 years’ experience as a wedding singer on weekends. Because of his ability to shine light on our community through music, the concert series was so successful La Jolla Light and the San Diego Union Tribune both wrote articles on the subject.
